Professional Vocal Coach | Healthy Vocal Technique | Online & In-Person Vocal Lessons

Helping singers build healthy, natural voices that remain true to who they are.

Experience & Credentials

With over 20 years dedicated to singing and vocal teaching development, I've worked with singers ranging from complete beginners to professional performers across musical theatre, recording, and film.

Throughout that journey, one belief has remained constant: every singer deserves a healthy, natural voice that allows them to express themselves freely.

Alongside my teaching experience, I remain deeply committed to continual learning, refining my approach through ongoing professional development, mentorship, and the continual study of contemporary vocal pedagogy.

Committed to Lifelong Learning

I believe great singers never stop growing—and neither should great teachers.

My teaching continues to evolve through advanced study with two internationally recognized vocal education organizations: PROFTY and IVA (Institute for Vocal Advancement).

As a Certified PROFTY Teacher, I continue advanced study under Greg Enriquez, a former Master Teacher in Speech Level Singing who spent more than 30 years studying with its founder, Seth Riggs. Greg has coached world-renowned artists including Celine Dion, Britney Spears, Solange, and Keala Settle, and today continues to advance his work through ongoing research and the training of voice teachers.

As an IVA Level 4 Instructor, I have also trained with internationally recognized Master Teachers whose work extends across contemporary music and Broadway, with artists and performers connected to Imagine Dragons, Benson Boone, Panic! at the Disco, and major Broadway productions.

Years of ongoing study have trained me to listen closely to a wide range of voices, identify what is holding each singer back, and find a clear path toward the sound or skill they want to develop.

But my work doesn't stop at solving the immediate challenge. I help singers learn how to maintain and continue developing their instrument over time—building the coordination, habits, and adaptability they need to keep growing across songs, styles, and stages of their journey.

I'm proud to bring this approach to singers from around the world—helping them not only develop a better voice, but build the skill, adaptability, and artistic depth to keep growing long after the lesson ends.

Teaching Philosophy

The goal isn't just to change a sound. It's to develop the instrument behind it.

Every singer comes to lessons with a different goal—easier high notes, a stronger mixed voice, greater freedom, or a sound that feels more like their own.

My job is to listen closely to what your voice is doing, understand what may be limiting it, and find the right strategy to move it forward. Rather than relying on one fixed exercise or method, I adjust the approach based on how your voice responds.

Sometimes the right adjustment can create an immediate change. But I don't believe in collecting temporary fixes or tricks. We use those changes as a starting point to build better coordination, healthier habits, and a more capable instrument over time.

As your voice develops, the goal is for what you learn to carry beyond a single exercise or song—giving you greater freedom and adaptability across different styles, repertoire, and stages of your growth.

Beyond Technique

Technique gives you freedom. Artistry gives that freedom meaning.

A healthy, well-developed voice gives you more choices—but technique alone does not create a compelling performance.

Singing is also about knowing how to shape a phrase, communicate emotion, make stylistic choices, and draw an audience into what you're saying. These are not qualities I believe singers simply have or don't have. Expression and performance are skills that can be understood, developed, and practiced.

My coaching extends beyond vocal technique into musical expression, style, storytelling, and performance—helping singers understand not only how to sing something, but why they are making each choice and what they want the listener to feel.

Ultimately, technique should never become the destination. It should give you the freedom to make artistic choices, communicate with intention, and become the kind of singer people want to keep listening to.
